About our broker, Chris Elder

Our broker has been a an owner of California based sales and marketing type businesses for over 25 years and has been willing to share those experiences with our current staff of licensed sales associates. Chris has been actively involved and dedicated to Big Bear as evidenced by six years of involvement as a board member and current president of the Big Bear Chamber of Commerce. It is not uncommon to see Chris on local television, in the local newspapers and at local events promoting the Big Bear business community and the benefits our valley has to offer.

Chris’s philosophy is simple. Purchasing a property or business is probably the most important decision a person will ever make. “Treat the client like you’d expect to be treated were the roles reversed. That means communicate, communicate and communicate. The rest will automatically fall into place. Secondly, when you sell a property in a small community like Big Bear you’d better make darn certain you’ve also made a friend. It’s a given you will be seeing that person again at the market, hardware store or restaurant.”
